In 2014, 92% of students achieved five or more A*-C grades at GCSE including Maths and English. In all, 52% of GCSEs were awarded at A or A* grade.
Born in Halifax, UK, Tim returned to his native Yorkshire to become Headmaster at Huddersfield Grammar School in September 2011.
Having studied for a degree in Physical Education and History at Loughborough University, and completed his training at the Carnegie College, he taught in a comprehensive school in Luton before being appointed a Head of Department at the independent Birkdale School, Sheffield. Four years later he joined Warwick School, rising to become Deputy Head.
