The Pumahue Chicureo School of Santiago, Chile, forms part of a national network of science and humanities schools with the purpose of being relevant players in Chilean education, both academically and in value formation for the integral education of our pupils from Nursery School to Middle Education.
Our schools have Differentiating Programmes highlighted by the reinforcement of several educational areas for our pupils, supporting them with Educational Aspects, Critical Abilities, Coexistence at School, Leadership and Undertaking, Vocational Guidance and Abilities for their lives.
On the other hand, our pupils prepare themselves for the SIMCE knowledge measurement tests (the Sistema de Medición de la Calidad de la Educación – Education Quality Measurement System), in which we have achieved excellent results, together with receiving reinforcement for the PSU (Prueba de Selección Universitaria – University Selection Test), whose results allow for access to Higher or University Education.
“As a family, we chose this school for its academic results, value formation (we were very interested in the CAMPUR project) and, most of all, in the encouragement of sports activities, which were what we were seeking for our children. We really liked the welcoming we had as a family the first time and the closeness to our home, apart from the warmth and closeness one has towards each of those making up the school.”
