Cranbrook is an independent school based in the heart of Ilford. Originally a boys-only school, Cranbrook has merged with Glenarm College to offer co-educational classes for students 3-16, providing an inclusive and rounded education. Cranbrook School provides education from Nursery and Early Years through to GCSE.
We see our school as part of a wider community and take great pride in our close relationships with parents and the local community. At the heart of our individualised approach to learning is our ability to understand precisely, through regular assessment, where each student is on his or her learning journey. We combine this with considerations such as how each child learns most productively, what motivates them, and their ideal pace of learning. It is this tailored approach that allows the majority of our students to achieve results above and beyond their predicted grades for GCSE.

"Children in the Early Years Foundation Stage have access to the full range of required areas of learning and their work is assessed accurately against the requirements of the early learning goals. Children work well together and take on responsibilities in the classroom with confidence. They are making good progress."
"Students are making good progress in each key stage. The external measures in Key Stages 3 and 4 demonstrate that students are progressing at a rate in excess of expectations. Students are performing well above the national averages at the end of each key stage, including in their GCSE results, and it is clear that this represents good progress from their various starting points."
